Show Notes

They say there are two bears inside every podcast. One feeding on fear and anger and hate. The other feeding on hope and joy and love. These two bears rage a battle in every episode of After the Credits. They fight for the soul of YumChunks. And in this episode, the fight gets long and dirty as Ryan, Matt, and Sean come back to the Chunkfire after another extended hiatus. With months of catching up to do, they ponder about the possible marketing ties between the Snyder cut and weird monoliths appearing around the globe, reminisce about the glory and cringy days of Korracast, take a deep dive into the Home Alone films, express some short takes on The Mandolorian season 2, and of course do some casual theorizing about the future of mutants and Spider-Man in the MCU. Speaking of which, apparently a new X-Men movie came out this year. Might as well talk about it. I guess. Is the X-Men cinematic universe sent off with a bang or a wimper in the long shelved teen thriller, **The New Mutants**? Tune in to listen as these primal beasts rage a war for our souls. Who will win? Whichever one we feed. (Jokes on them, we have no souls.) * Chunkfire Stories - 05:21 * **The New Mutants** Summary - 47:10 * **The New Mutants** Discussion - 50:20
